The Player Gap Request a spot

The Player Gap™ · Founding Cohort

You just saw the gap. Here are the six months that close it.

A coached, measured development program for serious players. Two priorities, one plan, monthly film feedback, and a written update to you every month, so you're never guessing whether the work is working.

Step 1 of 2 · Start here

Take the Gap Snapshot first.

Before you request a spot, find out where your player is right now. The Snapshot takes a few minutes and shows you the gap this program is built to close. I use it to shape your player's six months around their specific needs.

01 Where you are

A few minutes ago, you answered honest questions about your player and got something back most parents never get. A clear picture of where the gap is.

That picture is useful. It's also the easy part.

Knowing the gap doesn't close it. A plan closes it. Someone watching closes it. Your player doing the right work, on the right things, week after week, closes it.

That's what The Player Gap is. It's the next six months, built around what you just saw.

02 The real problem

The problem isn't effort. It's direction.

Here's what I see over and over. The player who stalls usually isn't lazy. They're busy. Practice, games, a trainer on Tuesday, a camp in the summer, shots in the driveway. Lots of work.

It's just not pointed at anything. They're working on everything, so they're not really improving at anything.

  • 01Nobody has named the two things that matter most right now.
  • 02Nobody is checking whether those things are getting better.
  • 03Nobody is telling you, the parent writing the checks, what's actually changing.
  • 04So the season ends, and you're left asking the same question as last year. Is this working?

03 How it works

Six months. Three phases. One direction.

Each month has two coached sessions. The first teaches the priorities. The second puts them under pressure.

Month 1

Establish direction

Your player gets the full TPG 360° Assessment and a written Player Gap Report. We name their two leading development needs and build the plan around them. No guessing about what to work on.

  • TPG 360° Assessment
  • Player Gap Report
  • Two priorities named
Months 2 to 3

Apply and adjust

The work goes into real reps, film, and pressure. I watch what holds up and what doesn't, and we adjust.

  • Film and pressure reps
  • Plan adjustments
  • 3 month review
Months 4 to 6

Build consistency

This is where it starts showing up in games. The skill stops being something your player does in a drill and becomes something they do without thinking.

  • Game evidence
  • Ownership
  • 6 month review

04 What's included

Everything your player needs. Nothing they don't.

01

TPG 360° Assessment and Player Gap Report

A full look at where your player is today, written up so you both know the starting point. We name two leading needs, and each gets its own focused block. Not ten things. Two.

02

12 coached small group sessions

Sixty minutes every session, with 3 to 6 players. Small enough that I see every rep and correct it in the moment.

03

A monthly practice plan with a completion log

Your player knows exactly what to do between sessions, and logs it. The work done alone is where most of the improvement happens, so it gets a plan too.

04

Film homework and monthly video feedback

Two film tasks every month to train the eyes, not just the body. Once a month your player sends up to five minutes of clips with a reflection, and I respond personally.

05

A written update to you, every month

What they worked on, what's improving, and what's next. No more asking in the car how it went and hearing "fine."

06

Formal reviews at three and six months

We stop, measure against the baseline, and look at the evidence together. Honest about what moved and what still needs work.

05 The schedule

Twelve Sundays. Put them on the family calendar now.

Sundays · 5:00 to 6:00 PM Denton Guyer High School · Denton, TX October 2026 to March 2027

06 Is this for you

This is not for every player.

This is for you if

  • +Your player is serious about basketball and wants to know exactly what to work on.
  • +They'll do the work between sessions, not just show up on Sundays.
  • +You want real feedback and evidence, not "they're doing great."
  • +You'd rather invest in six focused months than another season of scattered training.
  • +Your player can take honest coaching and use it.

This is not for you if

  • ×You want a guarantee about playing time, a roster spot, or a scholarship.
  • ×Your player won't touch the work outside of scheduled sessions.
  • ×You want a drill class to keep them busy.
  • ×You're hoping someone else will want it more than your player does.

07 Who leads it

Why I built this.

I'm Lee Green. I run Lee Green Basketball here in Texas, club teams and player training, and I've spent years in gyms watching players work hard and not get better. That bothered me enough to build this.

Most players don't need another trainer. They need someone to tell them the truth about where they are, give them two things to fix, and then actually check whether they're fixing them. Month after month. With film. In writing.

I keep these groups small because I can't do that with twenty kids. I can do it with six.

I'm not going to promise you your player starts next year. Nobody honest can. What I'll promise is that your player will know exactly what they're working on, I'll be watching, and you'll know what's changing.

08 What we measure

We don't measure progress by how a session felt.

01

Skill execution

Repeat checks against the starting baseline. Same test, months later. The numbers either moved or they didn't.

02

Game decisions

Clip review on real possessions. Reading it faster? Making the better choice? Film doesn't lie, and it doesn't flatter.

03

Ownership and consistency

Practice logs and written reflections. You'll see whether the work is getting done, and whether your player understands why.

09 Investment

The founding investment.

Here's the honest math. Most families already spend this, just in pieces. A camp here. A month of lessons there. A trainer who doesn't know what the last trainer worked on. Nobody tracking any of it. This replaces the scattered version with one plan, one coach, and six months of evidence.

Per player. Why "founding"? Because this is the first cohort, built with a small group of families I've personally reviewed. That's what the word means here. Nothing more.

10 My promise

No automatic renewal. When six months are up, nothing charges you again.

At the six month review, we sit down with the evidence and your family decides. Continue. Adjust the plan. Or take a break, and your player leaves with a maintenance plan so the work doesn't slip.

What I guarantee: every session, every plan, every monthly feedback response, and every written update on this page. Your player will be measured honestly, and you'll be told the truth.

What I won't guarantee: playing time, team selection, stats, scholarships, or recruiting. Nobody can promise those, and be careful with anyone who does. Results come from the work your player puts in. I'll make sure it's the right work.

11 Questions

Before you ask.

My player didn't do the Gap Snapshot. Can they still join?

Yes. The Snapshot is a starting point, but every player gets the full TPG 360° Assessment in month one. That's the real baseline.

What age or level is this for?

Players who are serious about getting better and willing to work between sessions. When you request a spot, I'll look at your player's grade and situation and tell you honestly if it's a fit.

What if we miss a Sunday?

Life happens. The monthly plan, film homework, and video feedback keep going either way, so the work doesn't stop. Let me know ahead of time and we'll keep your player on track.

Does this replace club or school team?

No. It works alongside them. The team gives your player games. This gives them a plan for getting better at the things that show up in those games.

How much work is it between sessions?

Enough to matter. The monthly plan is built to fit around the team schedule, but your player has to do it and log it. That's where most of the improvement comes from.

How do the payments work?

Pay $3,750 in full, or six monthly payments of $625. Same total either way. After I review your request, you'll get your Parent Agreement to sign and a secure payment link by email and text.

What happens after six months?

Nothing automatic. We review the evidence together and you decide: continue, adjust, or take a break with a maintenance plan.

How many spots are there?

Groups run 3 to 6 players so I can coach every rep. When the group is full, it's full. Requests are reviewed in the order they come in.

12 Your move

You already know the gap. The only question is what the next six months look like.

Your player is going to spend the next six months working on something either way. Practice, games, driveway shots. The work is happening.

The question is whether it's pointed at the two things that matter, with someone watching and a record of what changed.

First session is Sunday, October 18. Request your spot and I'll review it personally.
